The organization forms a major part of the life of the working people. When the workplace is tensions, controversies and conflicts, the mental and social health of the individual is threatened and It may involve them burnout. accordingly, the present study tries to study the degree of job burnout among faculty members of Tabriz University and related social factors and develop strategies for controlling and preventing it.
The research was done through quantitative method and survey method and with a Survey technique among faculty members of Tabriz University in 1396. number of population study is approximately 800 person. From a population of 800 person, 121 person was selected for study by Cochran formula as a Sample by stratified random sampling. The data collection tool was often a standard questionnaire.
The results of descriptive analysis showed that the average of job burnout among faculty members was 21.41 out of 100. accordingly, it can be said that the rate of job burnout at Tabriz University is low. the results of the structural model of job burnout also indicate that Social capital, psychological capital and organizational climate are affecting factors on job burnout. in other words, if the social capital and psychological capital of the faculty members are at the appropriate level and the organizational climate for the desired activity, the degree of job burnout will decrease significantly. among the variables in the research, job experience is the only variable that does not have a significant effect on job burnout.
