The confirmatory analyses were used to compute the validity. The goodness of fit for each model was assessed using the Satorra–Bentler scaled chi-square, the Incremental Fit Index (IFI), and the Comparative Fit Index (CFI). A non-significant chi-square, and values greater than 0.90 for the GFI, IFI and CFI, are considered to reflect acceptable model fit. The internal consistency was used to determine reliability of  NR- Scale. Confirmatory factor analysis revealed that the three-factor model of NR- scale demonstrated a superior fit to the data. The Cronbach alpha values showed that NR-Scale has a good reliability. The results buttressed the notion that the NR- scale is a valid and reliable measurement instrument in predicting environmentally responsible behavior (ERB).
