This study employs a qualitative approach and narrative analysis to examine the representations of Generation Z subjectivity within digital lifeworlds. Active Generation Z Instagram users were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through focused observation and analyzed using Riessman’s thematic narrative analysis. Within this framework, the represented themes were organized into three major narrative types: Subjects in the Process of Becoming, Subjects Amid Hope and Despair, and Problematized Subjects. Based on these narrative types, Generation Z subjectivities were conceptualized through the notion of Suspended Subjects—a condition emerging at the intersection of social and digital forms of suspension and shaped by the deficiencies, constraints, and instabilities of everyday life, thereby reflecting a multifaceted generational experience. The findings indicate that suspended subjectivity should not be understood merely as a condition of vulnerability or passivity. Rather, within networked lifeworlds and in response to unstable conditions, these subjects express their agency through meaning-making, creative capacities, adaptability, and diverse forms of resistance. In this context, the power of networked flows increasingly extends beyond the influence of traditional forms of power.
